Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join a growing manufacturing team in Wilton, NH. This is a hands-on bench position responsible for operating equipment used to grind and polish small metal components, inspecting finished products, and ensuring all parts meet quality and customer specifications.

This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy working with their hands, take pride in producing quality work, and are comfortable performing repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment.

Location: Wilton, NH

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM

Pay: Starting at $17.00/hour, with higher pay available based on experience

Responsibilities

  • Set up and load small parts into fixtures for processing
  • Operate grinding and polishing equipment according to work instructions
  • Inspect parts throughout the process to ensure quality standards are met
  • Use microscopes, calipers, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions
  • Identify damaged or non-conforming parts and separate them for rework
  • Follow established manufacturing procedures and specifications
  • Troubleshoot minor issues and notify supervisors of equipment or quality concerns
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure production goals are met

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous manufacturing, production, assembly, or machine operation experience preferred
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Comfortable using microscopes, calipers, and other measuring instruments
  • Ability to identify and solve basic production issues
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Two years of related experience preferred, but not required
